The Dead Sea in the Middle East receives fresh water, but it has no outlet, so it doesn’t pass the water out. It receives beautiful water from the rivers, and the water goes dank. I mean, it just goes bad. And that’s why it is the Dead Sea. It receives and does not give. In the end generosity is the best way of becoming more, more, and more joyful.

Donate Books

ALL of our books come from donations from our community and other orgs/publishers. We can provide a receipt for your taxes. And the best part: the proceeds from your donated books support neighbors in crisis.

Please take a moment to read through the donation guidelines below before bringing your books.

We can’t do this without you. This is for the community from the community.

A financial donation will go directly to supporting South Louisville neighbors in a financial crisis - our families who are struggling to stay in their homes and food in their fridge.

If you want to have 100% of your donation go directly to our neighbors, you can choose to give to South Louisville Community Ministries Neighborhood Fund!
